Here's everything that you need to know about our new and exciting RARA Kids online program.

What is the program?

RARA Kids is an interactive online program that delivers supplementary Jewish education and experiences for people living in rural and regional Australia.

The program is divided into four tracks.

2-4 years old
30 minutes, once a week

5-7 years old
1 hour, once a week

8-10 years old
1 hour, once a week

11-14 years old

Who teaches the classes?

The classes are taught by Mrs Sheina Sufrin. Sheina was born and raised in Melbourne, and has extensive experience with teaching children of all ages. Sheina holds a Bachelor in Education (Primary) from Swinburn University.

Sheina carries a valid WWCC, is relatable and is known to be able to connect with children and young adults of all characters.

What will my child learn?

Our classes teach a variety of topics, covering Jewish history, Shabbat and Festivals, and follow a dedicated curriculum. Hebrew language lessons are included as well!

How is the program delivered?

The program is delivered via Zoom in a group setting of similar aged children.

Before the term begins, a box filled with activities will be mailed to your child, containing craft activities that will be completed throughout the term.

Enrollments are for one term at a time, which includes 10 lessons throughout the term. There is not further commitment required - if you only want to do the program for one term, you are most welcome to do so!

Who can join the program?

RARA Kids is intended for Jewish people that live in regional Australia, and are between ages 2 and 14 years old.

To be eligible to join the program, children must be halachicly Jewish, and live in Australia.

During the registration process, you will be asked to upload evidence of your child's Jewish status. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this, we are here to make this process as smooth and as easy as possible for you. In the event that you do not have documentation available, please be in touch with us for alternative options.
