There is a brand new edition of the RARA REPORT out now for the month of June 2024/Sivan 5784.
This is our quarterly magazine, packed with stories, pictures, and first hand accounts of Jewish life in regional Australia.
If you are in Melbourne, look out for a copy at your local Synagogue or favourite Kosher store.
For the rest of Oz, it will be landing in your mail box very soon.
Shabbat Shalom!
Near Warrnambool for the weekend? It might be a bit chilly, but you can warm up at the Shabbat meal with our volunteers that are there this weekend.
Or, if you are further north in New South Wales, join our other group of rabbis in Armidale, where they are hosting a Shabbat.
Wherever you are, we can always come for a visit!
Hanging out with Moishe in Ballina NSW.
Of course, a moment to pause and lay the Tefillin.
A beautiful moment, physically, spiritually, and emotionally!
Thank you to Yariv, a Toowoomba local for the past two decades, for hosting a beautiful Shabbat in Toowoomba at the end of last week.
It is always so beautiful to see regional communities come together. Nochum and Yaakov cooked up a storm, and spent a memorable evening at the Shabbat table.
Our teams spends hundreds of days a year on the road, visiting people all over Australia.

This is Yaakov Levy and Nochum Labkowski. They have been visiting people with their mobile home all over the NSW North Coast.
Tonight, they will be spending Shabbat with the Toowoomba Jewish community, co-hosting a Shabbat meal for everyone to enjoy.
Well done rabbis!
And that's a wrap! Rabbi Menachem and Chaya Deray have just completed a 4,000km trip around Victoria and New South Wales.
The trip saw the young couple visit families and host Shabbat meals in many different areas such as Ballarat, Castlemaine, Bendigo, Gippsland, Merimbula, Jindabyne and Albury-Wodonga.
Although we usually bring out student Rabbis to do these trips, we did something different and had a young married couple come down. For so many families this was a breath of fresh air to be able to interact with a full Jewish family unit.
Let us know if you had a visit from Menachem and Chaya!
Thank you to Menachem and Chaya, we hope (and know) you had a great time. Much success ahead!
Pictured here after a great post-trip catch up with Mr Saul Spigler, President and founder of Chabad of RARA.
Are you in the Dandenong Ranges? We are nearby, with a car full of yummy cheesecakes!
Reach out and we'll come say hello.
Where in this great country have we just driven through?
