Rabbis hit the road in RARA tank

RA RBIS on a mission hit Cooktown on Sunday, bringing Jewish culture and religion to the town in a colourful truck, known as at the "RARA Tank".

The non profit Chabad of Rural and Regional Australia, part of the Chabad Lubavitch movement - the largest Jewish outreach orgnisation in the world - send young rabbis on trip around Australia reconnecting Jews with their heritage.

The latest two month Chabad tour began in Melbourne and travelled all the way in Queensland, including a day trip in Cooktown.

There will be a Passover celebration- commemorating the historical liberation of the Jews from Egypt - in Cairns this Sunday,  April 19.
