Scenes from the small, but vibrant, Jewish community in Central Australia.

Monday, 25 December, 2023 - 6:12 am

Our rabbis made the 2,500km journey to the Red Center, where they have been providing support for the local community. They hosted a Shabbat meal for 10 Jewish locals, and spent yesterday going around to families to say hello and offer the opportunity to wrap the Tefillin.

Us Jews are no strangers to living in deserts, yet still remaining connected!

Thanks you to Rael for hosting the rabbis during their stay in Alice Springs.

Hi. Im a First Nations Pastor in Alice Springs. I dont know how I found your article, but I found it.

We are interested and have hosted some of the Lords Feasts here in Alice Springs and especially have hosted Shabbat gatherings here locally.

I would be interested to connect with some local Jewish people here in Central Australia.

Many Blessings,

Ps Sherry
