Alan keeps pretty busy and he's got a lot going on. He lives on a farm in rural Western Australia.
When Mendel called him, offering to visit, he said it's going to be hard to squeeze one in. But that wasn't the end of it. Mendel and Avraham were heading down to Manjimup, and Alan's place was not too far out of the way.
So our volunteers made a quick stop, and said hello to Alan. The quick stop turned into a 30 minute conversation about all things farms and all things Jewish.
"I'm so glad you guys stopped by," said Alan, as Mendel and Avraham climbed back into their motorhome to head out. "You're visit came at just the right time."
Alan is pictured here laying the Tefillin, after having just recited the Shema, the age-old Jewish prayer.
