Where did Jews live in NSW in the past?
In the 1960s Charles Price, demographer, conducted a very detailed study of Australian Jews from a century of censuses - origins, trades, education, locations, intermarriage. Statistics and notes were published in the AJHS Journal, Vol.V, Part VIII, May 1964.
Appendix VI shows locations spread across NSW. Note the large proportion in regional NSW in the earlier censuses.
