There are some mitzvos that people wait years to fulfil.
For this woman in regional Western Australia, having a mezuzah on her front door was one of them.
Living further away from the Jewish community, it wasn't something she could simply buy or arrange herself. It remained a dream until our volunteers arrived at her home.
Together, they carefully affixed the mezuzah, recited the blessing, and marked a moment that she had been waiting for for a very long time.
