What a wonderful experience Shneor and Mendel had yesterday as they were heading from Bundaberg to Rockhampton.
Along the way they stopped at a farm, where the owner was more than happy to show them how sugar cane grows and how the sugar is extracted.
It takes a special kind of person to welcome two complete strangers and happily spend the time showing them how one of Australia's largest industries works from the ground up.
