Welcome to the JewQ competition!
On this page you can learn all about the program, and sign up for it today.
JewQ is an international Jewish Knowledge learning competition, that is designed for children in grades 3 to 7.
The program runs for approximately 3 months, and offers great prizes, lots of Jewish knowledge, and a competitive experience.
This years program begins on Sunday 30 April, and concludes in mid-August.
Children participate in the program by studying from the "Living Jewish - A Handbook for Life" book. The book is child friendly, featuring over 250 pages of illustrated Jewish knowledge. Quotas are set based on age, and need to be studied on a weekly basis.
Every 4 weeks (approx.), a test is scheduled, and is taken online via the JewQ website portal. The test is multiple choice, and practice tests are available as well.
When your child scores an average of 70% on all the tests, they will be awarded medals, and will make it to the Finals, where a test will be taken on all the sections they have studied.
The program is fun, requires only 1-2 hours a week, and is a great way to boost your child's Jewish knowledge. Families that have participated in the past have found that by participating in the program, everyone, even the adults, learn more!
